NEW TITLE!?!?

I've decided to take on the 52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks "Challenge"... and what better place to do it than in my "old" 52 Wednesdays!

Interestingly enough-  I will get a prompt for the week on a Tuesday-  so maybe I won't even change the title... because I will probably create the post on a Wednesday.  I will have to think on this.

So... I've already missed two prompts-  I'm waiting to find out if I can get those and do a quick catch up.

Whether I can- or can't ... I'm looking forward to this little project!

Here's a great place to start- 

These are the Oltmer "kids".  One generation up from "US"   Back Left-  Uncle Billy; Back Right Dad - Charles Oltmer; Front Left - Aunt Florence (Oltmer) Inslee; Center w/ the hat: Aunt Mary Elizabeth (Oltmer) Giordano; and the cutie at the bottom right-  Uncle Chrissy -  Officially Oltman Christian Oltmer.

To put a few things in order:  Uncle Billy had 4 kids: Cathy, Carol, Celeste and Billy Jr.;  There were 3 girls in our family: Pat, Nancy and Mary Beth; Aunt Florence had 4 kids:  Chris, Tom, Marianna and Claudine; Aunt Mary had 4 kids:  Mary Catherine, Frankie, Billy and Charles and Uncle Chrissy had 2 kids Christina and Christian.  Everyone in bold can be found on Facebook!!

Now... all of this is available on our Ancestry account-  but here it is again lol.

WOW.. This is just a beginning-  relationships to post and tales to tell-

I will wait for the official prompt and carry on from here!   FIFTYTWO WEEKS!!  FIFTYTWO WACKY relatives!

These are current pictures from St. Joe's Church in Demarest- a donation from Grandma and Grandpa Oltmer when the church was being built.  The original St. Joe's was where Mom and Dad were married - located at the end of Brookside Ave. in Demarest.  (They lived in Cresskill on Brookside Ave).

Where Has the Time Gone???

I haven't been here since 2009? Is that POSSIBLE? Oh.. I know facebook grabbed me by the arm and hasn't let go. heh.

I'm really here to see about setting up a blog about the BSHCA Living Shoreline... I'll give it a go.

Oh Yeah... HAPPY EVERYTHING!!!

How Awful of Me!

I almost made it to the end of the challenge... I think it was FINALLY selling our north Jersey home that put me over the top- it has been one of the most stressful things.. and yet, I had very little to do with it all hahahahaha...

The house has been for sale since.. ummmm... FOREVER.. we moved here in June 2007 (well.. I didn't finish work up there till October 1, 2007) but we've had the "south" house since that June and SOME of us lived here....

But that's all behind me now but for the challenge... I plodded along through the fun things... the articles to read... the "nothing after 8" thing and then flaked out at the end?!?!?!?!

I did do the service section... I've been doing websites for a few groups for no charge... it's lots of time spent, and nothing but satisfaction in return... the Berkeley Shores Homeowners' Civic Association and the MSU Diamond Club websites are 100% gratis on maintenance. I do it to help out- and it's a good feeling.

Guess I better go and read up on the STRESS sections again! It was fun... regardless... and maybe a little of the spirituality WORKED in getting the house finally sold... but it feels so good that I'm not going to worry about it...

I did what I could.. and what I did do... I did well.. or ok...

So now, I can use my blog for other things lol.. yeah.. like ummmmmm.... talking about having ONE house? Ummmm talking about my sister's blog lol....

Ah... it's a good outlet- when I think about letting it out!
